PORT FAIRY
Port Fairy
Port Fairy

Port Fairy is a coastal town 28 km west of Warrnambool.  A whaling station was established in 1835, the post office was opened in 1837 and a store was opened in 1839.

In 1843 land was purchased, subdivided and leased and a harbour was built on the Moyne River.  Port Fairy has a rich history and 50 buildings are protected by the National Trust of Australia.

The town is a popular tourist destination with a quaint shopping village featuring cafes, restaurants, a choice of lovely lifestyle and clothing stores, newsagent, supermarket, pharmacy and boutique and luxury accommodation.

The town swells during festivals such as The Port Fairy Folk Festival and Moyneyana Festival. Fishing, surfing and golf are popular pass times for locals and visitors alike.

As a real estate agency with an emphasis on lifestyle, we certainly love and appreciate this welcoming town.
